The Problem

You're Paying Per Seat to Talk to Your Own Team.

And on the free plan, the conversation you need is the one that already disappeared.

Chat became a per-seat bill

Every new hire adds another monthly charge to the tool people use to say good morning.

Free plans delete your history

Slack's free workspace hides messages after 90 days — and permanently deletes anything over a year old. The decision you're trying to find isn't hidden. It's gone.

Another login, another tab

Chat is a separate product with a separate account, provisioned separately, reviewed separately, and paid for separately from everything else your team uses.

Scheduling means leaving the conversation

You agree a time in chat, then open a calendar in another tab, then paste a link back in. Three apps to book one meeting.

A green dot isn't a status

"Online" tells you a tab is open. It doesn't tell you whether someone is in a workshop until four, or heads-down until Thursday.

Everything useful is one tier up

Group calls. Message history. SSO. Admin controls. The plan you started on is never the plan you end on.

Chat Is Infrastructure. Stop Renting It.

Every Quikit app you run comes with the full messaging platform. Not a stripped free tier. Not a 90-day window. Channels, groups, DMs, threads, voice notes, presence, calendar scheduling, and an AI assistant — for every person in your organization, at no additional per-seat cost.

How It Works

One Conversation Layer for the Whole Company.

Public channels for the org, private groups for the team, DMs for the rest — on one model, with one permission system.

01

Organize

Channels anyone can discover and join. Private groups by invitation. Direct messages. Each with its own section in the sidebar and its own create button.

02

Talk

Threads that carry a preview of what they're replying to. Reactions, pins, mentions, forwards. Drafts that survive switching away mid-sentence.

03

Share

Drop a file anywhere over the conversation — message list, header, composer. If an upload fails it stays staged with your caption, waiting for a retry, instead of vanishing.

04

Speak

Record a voice note with a waveform. Or dictate straight into the composer in English or Hindi.

05

Meet

See who's free, propose a time, and schedule from inside the conversation — with a Teams link when you're on Microsoft.

See It In Action

Every Panel, One Real Product.

No mockups. This is the actual QuikChat interface, screen by screen.

For the Founder / Business Owner

One Fewer Per-Seat Bill, Forever.

  • Chat included with every Quikit app — no separate licence, no seat count to manage.
  • History that stays yours instead of expiring on a free-plan clock.
  • One account across the suite — no separate chat directory to provision and review.
  • Every hire is onboarded to chat by existing in the org, not by a purchase order.
  • No tier upgrade waiting behind the feature you eventually need.

For the Team Lead

Know Who's Actually Available.

  • Six real statuses with expiry, so "back at 4" is a state and not a memory.
  • Presence backed by a live gateway with periodic resync, so a missed update self-heals.
  • @mentions with their own notification and their own filter.
  • Threads that carry their parent, so a reply three days later still makes sense.
  • Summarize a channel or a thread with QuikAssist when you come back from leave.

Why Us

The Chat Isn't the Product. The Bill Is.

Every major chat tool is good. They're also a permanent per-seat cost with the useful parts one tier up. Here's what we do differently.

01

It's included, not sold.

QuikChat comes with every Quikit application. There is no chat seat to buy, no headcount to true up at renewal, and no tier that unlocks the part you need.

02

Your history doesn't expire.

No 90-day window. No permanent deletion at the one-year mark. The conversation from last March is still the conversation from last March.

03

Presence people can plan around.

Six durable statuses with expiry and a message, plus mutual-consent last seen that respects Appear Offline without exception.

04

An AI assistant that reads your documents.

Attach a file and ask what's in it. Answers are grounded in the document rather than generated around it. Enabled per organization, so it's a decision you make rather than one made for you.

05

Security defaults that fail closed.

The application refuses to boot in production with an unset signing secret. Upload tokens are signed and short-lived. Failures are logged in diagnosable detail with credentials explicitly excluded.

06

One identity across the suite.

The same account, the same roles, and the same app switcher across every Quikit application you run.

QuikChat — questions, answered

Still have questions? Talk to our team →

Yes. It's included with any Quikit application, for every person in your organization. There is no chat seat to buy and no tier that unlocks features.

Not yet. Message, file and global search are designed but not yet available, and this is the clearest current gap against Slack, Teams and Google Chat.

Not yet. A dedicated Android and iOS client is in development. QuikChat runs today in the browser and as a native Windows and macOS desktop app.

QuikAssist answers questions grounded in documents you attach, and summarizes channels or threads on request. Message it directly or call it inline with /ai or /ask. It's enabled per organization, so it's your decision whether it's on at all.

Presence is live and visible in conversations and member lists. Last seen is mutual — it appears only when both people have sharing enabled, and it's always suppressed for anyone set to Appear Offline, regardless of any other setting.

Org admin, app admin and member roles with a granular permission matrix, enforced across every API route rather than only in the interface. Upload tokens are signed and short-lived. The application refuses to start in production if a security-critical signing secret is unset, rather than falling back to a development default.
